There is a new addition in XFX graphics-family products ”FATBOY”. The design is same as XFX GTS RX 580 but this time heat-sink is bit more chunkier, It is now confirmed this card features 8+6 pin power design and five display connectors: DVI-I, HDMI and three Display Ports. The card is equipped with a full cover backplate same as previous XFX GTS design.
The card will feature 2304 Stream Processors and 8GB of GDDR5 memory. A refined Polaris architecture will now use a 12nm fabrication process however, this RX 590 FATBOY OC+ Edition runs at 1600MHz. 16% more clocks than RX 580 base-clock 1340MHz and 9.35% more clocks than fastest Sapphire Nitro OC+ Limited Edition RX 580 8GB which is 1450MHz. You can expect the performance around GTX 980Ti and 10% slower than GTX 1070 which would be impressive under $300 USD mark. The Radeon RX 590 is currently expected to launch on November 15th.
