Red Dead Redemption had various issues running on the previous version of the emulator. The problems ranged from vegetation glitches to down right hard crashes. However, the latest patch of Xenia addresses these issues and makes the experience a fluid one, albeit there are still some flickering smoke effects.
While RDR runs significantly better than the native Xbox version, it is important to note you require a high-end system to run it as is. Youtuber “John GodGames Emus” is using a i7-8700k @ 5.0Ghz with 32GBs of DDR4 3600MHz ram. Even then so, this was the first time we witnessed Read Dead Redemption running so smoothly on any emulator.
Given the steady progress, we can assume a Red Dead Redemption 2 release is possible on these emulators.
