For the purpose of serious Twitch Streaming, a high-quality microphone is required.
Razer‘s new Seiren X mic is very simple, it is 50 percent smaller than the original Seiren. The microphone has its own built in mounting system in the form of a base in order to become a compact solution. it has a mute button and a volume knob, nothing else.
The Microphone has headphone and power jacks located at the bottom of the mic but fortunately you can easily remove the Seiren X’s small circular stand completely if you feel like you’re going to damage your wires when you plug them in, and also if you want to attach it on your own mount.
The Microphone uses an audio codec to record at 16 bits 44.1-48 KHz, with a sensitivity of -38 db. a response frequency of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a sensitivity of 17.8 mV @ 1 KHz, zero latency monitoring to avoid lag. An impendence of ≥ 16Ω. A minimum sample rate of 44.1 kHz and max 48 kHz. A bit rate of 16 bit.
- Windows 7, 8, 10
- Mac OS 10.8 onwards
- Compatible with Open Broadcaster Software and Xsplit
The Seiren X will be available for purchase next week at a suggested retail price of 128$ USD.
