Reports coming from Reuters. EagleTree Capital, a private equity firm based in New York, has offered to purchase Corsair for more than $500 million. Corsair is currently owned by Chief Executive Andy Paul, who founded the company in 1994. Francisco Partners made a $75 million investment in the company in 2013. EagleTree has managed to raise $330 million in funds for this acquisition from various other companies. In all, the firm is expected to pay roughly $525 million.

Corsair is one of the biggest names when it comes to PC Gaming Quality Components include CPU coolers,Rams,Chasis,Headsets,Keyboards and other quality peripherals. It looks like Corsair could soon be under new ownership according to reports this week.
