Month before official announcement, AMD upcoming next-gen graphics-card PCB has been surfaced online, features GDDR6 Memory at 256-bit interface. We all know AMD announcement for 7nm products GPU’s next-gen based on Navi and CPU’s known as ZEN 2 is scheduled for 27th May. The alleged PCB hints it’s won’t be a entry-level graphics-card as the PCB is large and has GDDR6 memory which is capable of 12GBPS/14GBPS at 256 bus interface.
As shown in the picture, Navi die is surrounded with the 8 DRAM packages, which means either 8GB or 16GB configuration. This PCB also supports 8×2 power-connectors with the 8-phase of VRM. This might be the very-early design. Hopefully we will see the full design at Computex next-month.
