After 10 years of servicing, Microsoft has started rolling out an update in Windows 7 Windows 7 will no-longer be supported by Microsoft from January 14th, 2020. Microsoft is using a notification to warn Windows 7 existing users well that means Windows will no longer receive security patches and updates, Earlier this month microsoft also told us about end-of life support for Windows.

According to steam (February 2019) , Windows 7 users has been dropped by 0.48%, only 26% steam users are using Windows 7 and Windows 10 gained 1.14%. Windows 10 is still edging closer to Microsoft’s goal of having it installed on 1 billion devices. Windows 10 is now running on more than 800 million devices.
