As Intel is gearing up to officially release it’s Coffee Lake CPUs on October 5th, Swedish retailers Sweclockers, have reported that the numbers of Coffee Lake processors will be flat on launch day and a nominal amount of CPUs will hit market in October and November.

There are rumors surrounding Coffee Lake that states Intel’s supply of Coffee Lake processors will be strained at launch, which will create a position where Coffee Lake CPUs will not be available in suitable quantities until in the end of December or in the start of 2018.

It is considered that Intel had felt a strong wave of heat from AMD’s Ryzen CPUs which forced them to launch their Coffee Lake processors early in order to compete with AMD’s Ryzen CPUs lineup, which made them to move their schedule from Q1 of 2018 to October 5th of this week.
