Intel today announced availability of its Core i9-7920X high-end desktop (HEDT) processor in the LGA2066 package which is now retailing for $1199 in the US and £1099 in the UK.

Official orders have started on Newegg over in the US,  The i9 7920X will come with the same 140W TDP as Intel’s 10-core i9 7900X . It features 1 MB of dedicated L2 cache per core, and 16.50 MB of shared L3 cache. The chip features the full 44-lane PCI-Express gen 3.0 root complex available on the silicon, and its quad-channel DDR4 integrated memory interface, supporting up to 128 GB of memory.
