The Radeon RX Vega by AMD has been pictured by HardOCP’s Editor and Chief Kyle Bennett, a disclosed cooler design that is similar of AMD’s older RX 480 reference design while contributing a similar form factor to AMD’s current Radeon Vega Frontier Edition.
Kyle Bennett has declared that this GPU will be used later this week to manipulate a blind gaming test where the Radeon RX Vega will be compared to a GTX 1080 Ti while each system will be using a FreeSync and G-Sync monitor subsequently. Yes you heard it right! The RX Vega is being compared to a GTX 1080 Ti, not a GTX 1080.
Wistfully there’s not gonna be a “Objective Data” from this test comparison while only the gameplay experience of both systems will be compared. The Radeon RX Vega is very comparable to the Radeon Frontier Edition if not exact with similar marking being present on the PCB’s of both graphics card.
AMD will announce RX VEGA graphics cards lineup based on the VEGA XTX, VEGA XT and VEGA XL silicon on July 31, at SIGGRAPH 2017.
