It is not the fastest CPU in the Intel platform, but it’s the best CPU for sure in terms of single-core performance / core-count and considering MSRP in mind. This CPU has 8 cores, enough for the every game these days and have little room for the streaming. Intel’s Core i7-9700K is an interesting step down from the i9-9900K The CPU can clock it to 5.0GHz if you have an sufficient cooling and ample room for air-flow in cabinet. If you want pure gaming performance Intel is the king.

2. AMD Ryzen 7 2700x

The 2700X is the highlight of the latest iteration of Ryzen processors. It isn’t the best gaming CPU clock-wise, but the Ryzen 7 2700X is the best that AMD has to offer. It is also excellent for $330. It comes with Wraith-Prism with RGB, It can boost to 4.35GHz with the sufficient cooling. 8 Core and 16 threads is the sweet-spot for Streamers and Gamers also considering the price it’s not actually wallet breaking like counter-parts. If you’re a content creator and streamer plus a gamer, then look no other than Ryzen 7 2700x also make sure to grab a fast-frequency more to get most out of this AMD chip, we recommend DDR4 3200MHz at-least. Look how much performance impact on Ryzen CPU’s you can read our review here.

3. AMD Ryzen 5 2600

AMD has stayed on an aggressive note when pricing 2nd-gen Ryzen CPUs, Ryzen 5 2600 was launched at $190 now officialy discounted to $160. Ryzen 5 2600 is the cut-down version of 2600x in terms of core frequency, but according to reviews and users opinion, Ryzen 5 2600 actually beats the very own AMD’s 2600x in terms of value. I agree with that, because 6 Cores with Hyper-threading selling for $160 is really insane if you put in performance/doller ratio, also it comes with the wreath-stealth cooler, the cooler is not great as wraith prism, but it has everything to offer for the 65W TDP CPU, also there is a little room ahead for the overclocking as well. This CPU can do anything, but mainly recommended for pure gaming. and i guess, If you’re in Pakistan, then you should look no further other than R5 2600. It’s cheaper than Intel i5 8600K and also offers better performance in multiple work-loads.

4. Intel i5 8400

  • Cores: 6 | Threads: 6| Base Clock: 2.8 GHz | Turbo Clock: 4.0 GHz   –

The Core i5-8400 brings a powerful six-core design to the mid-range Core i5 8400 for Blue team. The chip packs six physical cores and no Hyper-Threading but it has the nice single-core performance, single-core might operate at 4.0GHz in fewer cores. As an added bonus, you get an appropriate cooler in the box which is Intel’s very own traditional skinny heat-sink. It has the amazing performance for the value for blue-team.

The ZEN based APU, For those on a budget who just want something that can play games and won’t break the wallet. It is SMT enabled means unlocked-threads. It’s an overclockable processor comes with an AMD cooling solution Wraith Stealth. 4 Cores/8 Threads would be sufficient for low-budget gamers. You don’t need $400 CPU to play-games. For the ITX builders that need no discrete GPU it will fit perfectly for them. RX Vega 11 is probably enough for 720p/30 gaming, This Vega built-in graphics out-performs every Intel HD graphics in market.

Another installment in ZEN APU’s under $100 USD, but it’s the cut-down version of 2400G with locked threads and slightly less core-frequency and the less Vega Graphics CU’s. It has 8 CU’s, Well that make sense. This processor is about $50 cheaper than 2400G. May fit well in ITX builders, you can easily achieve around 150-200 FPS in CSGO at 720p with the medium settings.
