Every year’s E3 one ups the previous year by showing off a whole lot of exciting and highly anticipated games. Publishers and game developers make every effort to hype up their upcoming products as much as they can, and this year was no different. Many PC games were also shown off. 1. Cyberpunk 2077
The Witcher series of games is much loved by fans because of the amount of effort CDProjekt RED has put into it, with The Witcher 3 winning Game of the Year not too long ago. Cyberpunk 2077’s trailer shows the same level of depth and detail put into it, with a stunning depiction of a fictional city of the near future. The reveal trailer managed gather over 12.1 millions views on Youtube in just a week.
2. Fallout 76
Bethesda’s next installment in the Fallout series was also highly waited with the last main release being Fallout 4 back in the end of 2015. Fallout 76 is prequel in the series, set in 2102 in the game series’ universe. This game will also be a departure from the series in that it’s going be an online MMO, a first in the series. The E3 trailer has over 12.3 millions views on Youtube.
3. The Elder Scrolls VI
The sequel to The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim is the 2nd game shown off by Bethesda. The E3 trailer has over 5.6 million views on Youtube but doesn’t show off too much. The game is still in pre-production according to the video description and the video itself only shows off an aerial view of what can be assumed to be the game’s overworld.
4. DOOM Eternal
DOOM Eternal came as a surprise announcement as Bethesda’s 3rd game at E3. The game is set to be a direct sequel to the 2016 reboot of the series. DOOM Eternal will bring the action packed thrills of the first game to the masses once again. The E3 trailer shows a slow pan of an area over run by demons with Doom Guy entering the scene at the end. The Youtube video has 4.5 million views as of this writing.
5. Halo Infinite
The Halo franchise is making a return to PC with the trailer of Halo Infinite. The game is being developed by 343 Industries on a new game called Slipspace. The trailer has nearly 3 million views on Youtube.
6. Battlefield V
The installment of Battlefield was also revealed at E3 called Battlefield V. The newer game is going to be set in World War 2, moving on from the setting of Battlefield of World War 1. The reveal trailer received mixed opinions because of the inclusion of various historic inaccuracies but the multiplayer trailer received positive ratings with more than 3.8 million views on Youtube.
7. Assassin’s Creed Odessey
Assassin’s Creed latest addition to the series takes players all the way back to Ancient Greece, during the time of the Peloponnesian War. For the first time in the series, players will have the option to choose from a male or female antagonist. Ubisoft has multiple Youtube channels with the E3 reveal trailer so its difficult to give an accurate combined number but the NA channel trailer has over 1.6 million views.
After Mass Effect and Dragon Age, Bioware has made a new RPG experience in the form of Anthem. The trailer shows off players with a variety of exosuits with different abilities fighting off monsters in a variety of environments and showing off quite a lot of detail in the overworld. The Youtube cinematic trailer has 2.8 million views as of this writing.
